What are the driver’s age requirements?

All drivers must be 21 years of age or older.

We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for weekends and special events. This helps guarantee that your dream car is available for your desired date.

To receive a full refund, please cancel your reservation at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made within 24 hours of your rental will be issued an in-house credit for future use.

Yes, additional drivers are welcome, provided they are 21 or older, have a valid driver’s license, and possess full coverage insurance.

Yes, we require a security deposit. The deposit amount is specific to each vehicle and can range anywhere from $1,000 – $3,000. Cash deposit retainers will be returned after the rental period if no damages are incurred during the term of the rental. If any damages are found once the vehicle has been returned we will provide you with an onsite evaluation, and deduct it from your deposit.

The refueling charge for a rental will be $5/gallon.

Tolls:
Tolls are charged as a $15/day flat fee and are collected from the security deposit at the end of the rental period.

Driving tickets:
Each driver is responsible for their own driving citations and driving tickets.
Parking tickets and red light cameras: The renter is fully responsible for any parking citations, and red light camera tickets during the rental period.

Towed vehicle:
Any towing charges or damages incurred during the rental cycle will be deducted from the deposit and/or billed to the client. The client can continue the rental after the charges are paid and the vehicle is released.

We charge the full amount of the rental in advance or on the day of the rental. Once a vehicle is reserved we are not allowed to rent the vehicle during the days of your rental period. If you cancel early you will be given a credit for future rentals in the amount of days left during your rental period.

You are not allowed to leave the state of Florida or travel beyond 100 miles from our office unless consent is given from the management. Below are some scenarios that are not allowed by Zalo Rentals:

  • for any illegal purpose or in connection with any illegal activity

  • to exceed any posted speed limits

  • in any racetrack or road course

  • by anyone not licensed to drive or whose Driver’s License has been suspended or restricted to carry persons or property for hire

  • to push or tow anything

  • to teach anyone to drive

  • on any unpaved surface

We are a 24hr service, which makes it easy for us to accommodate you on your ever changing schedule and those last minute trips. We can deliver or pick up your rental at no cost within our allowed locations within the hours of 10am (EST) – 8pm (EST). For deliveries or pick ups outside our normal operating hours we charge a $50–$250 surcharge that varies on location and distance.

We advise our clients to allow us a 1 and a 1/2 hour window to make deliveries.
